Background
Infertility causes significant distress, stigma, and emotional and financial hardship, affecting mental and psychosocial well-being. Despite this burden, diagnosis and treatment, including assisted reproductive technology, remain underfunded and often inaccessible due to high costs and limited availability.
Bud, Bloom and Blossom equips waiting couples with faith-based encouragement, clear medical insight, and practical guidance. The conference integrates spiritual support with ethical medical information and actionable steps, while building community to reduce isolation and support couples toward fruitful families.
This conference aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on reproductive health, calling for universal access to sexual and reproductive health services and integration of reproductive health into universal health coverage.

Host
Rev. Deji Akinpelu has led Everlasting Light International Ministries since November 6, 2011. For 14+ years he has driven transformational programmes through prophetic teaching, dream interpretation, vision activation, and community outreaches. He holds a degree from the University of Ibadan, a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology, and was ordained into full-time ministry in 2010 by Bishop Francis Wale Oke, President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.
Host
Dr. Kennie holds a B.Tech in Computer Engineering from LAUTECH and an M.Sc and Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan. A COREN-registered engineer and member of NSE and APWEN, she coordinates Wisemasterbuilder for women across all walks of life and founded Girls in Science and Technology Initiative. She lectures at Dominican University, Samonda, Ibadan. She authored Barrier Breaker, an inspirational book challenging readers to become all they are meant to be.
Speaker
Rev. Samson Ajetomobi founded The Men of Issachar Vision, MIV, in 1989 with a burning passion for souls and a call to reach the unreached at all costs. An alumnus of Haggai Institute, Maui, USA, he also serves as President of Mission and Leadership Academy and chairs the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter. With over 34 years of leadership experience, he is sought after for trainings, conferences, crusades, and church revivals across the continents.
Speaker
Rev. Bernard Saba gave his life to Christ in 1982 and studied Veterinary Medicine at the University of Ibadan, where he served as Hall Fellowship Pastor, Bible Study Secretary, and President of the Student Christian Movement of Nigeria. He joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1987 and has served faithfully in ministry and community since.
Speaker
Dr. Afolakemi Saba holds a PhD in Accounting from Bowen University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She is a minister of the gospel at Saviour's House of Glory Ministries International, overseeing Virtuous Women Fellowship and the Education Mandate, and convening the monthly Women of Honor Fellowship for widows. She is Pioneer Chairperson and first female General Secretary of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria, Ibadan. She is author of seven books including Predestination, Arches of Destiny, and Gold for Gold.
Speaker
Rev. Dr. Patience Fortune Oyor is President of God-Will-Do-It Ministries and Senior Pastor of Spring of Freedom Christian Centre, Ibadan. For three decades she served as Dean of the School of Deliverance and Healing, training Christians locally and internationally. She is Proprietor of Freedom Private School, which has graduated over 1,500 pupils, and founded Gomba Oyor Trinity School, affiliated to Redeemer's University, Ede. Appointed a Justice of the Peace by Oyo State Government in 2022, she recently completed her PhD in Religious Studies at the University of Ibadan.
Medical Expert
Dr. Saanu subspecializes in Assisted Reproductive Technology, infertility management, and reproductive health research. He obtained his MBBS from LAUTECH in 2007 and qualified as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at University College Hospital in 2016. He obtained a Diploma in IVF and Reproductive Medicine in the UAE in 2018. He founded LAWONBLOOM FERTILITY CENTRE and has authored and co-authored over 20 academic publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Worship
Sholade Ara is a renowned gospel minister whose ministry began in Ibadan and has spread across Oyo State and beyond. Since 1997 she has served as Music Director, Praise and Worship Leader, Soloist, Deaconess, and in other leadership roles. A former member of two gospel jazz bands, she has shared platforms with some of Nigeria's foremost gospel artists and remains fully committed to God's work.
